How to: Download your images from Flickr

As a photography client of Cosmic Egg Productions I will have made the images I have created for you available on the Flickr platform. The reason for that is so that you can go to the relevant image or album of images at anytime and download your image in a variety of sizes. That way you have different sizes you can use for websites, social media and for print.

So here is a handy guide on downloading your pictures.

Step 1

Click on the link I sent you. I will have sent you a link to the album of images or I may have sent you a link to an individual image.

Step 2

Look for the download arrow. The red arrow in the image below is pointing at the download icon on the album page. On the album page clicking on the download lets you download all the images in the album at once:

Most likely though you will want to download an individual image. That is super easy too. Find the image in the album and click on it or follow the link I sent you to the individual image. When you are looking at an image look for the download arrow bottom right as in the screenshot below:

You will notice when you click on the download you will get a series of size options:

Step 3

Choose a size and download. So what size is best? The two at the bottom are very large and great if you are having a print made of the image. The medium and large options are perfect for websites and social media. The smallest ones are really just for thumbnail images on your website.

The other curvy arrow lets your share that image by giving you a link that you can copy and email or share on social media.

Flickr also has a prints ordering service. The quality of the prints is excellent. Let me know if you would like a print or prints. The prices are very reasonable for the quality.
